As part of the upcoming EU Health Technology Assessment (EU HTA), we are seeking a native French speaker. The ideal candidate is an experienced biostatistician or a natural scientist (minimum bachelor's degree) who is ready to expand their expertise beyond established statistical work in clinical research to include epidemiology and/or health economics and the emerging field of HTA.

AMS Advanced Medical Services GmbH is a privately-owned Contract Research Organization (CRO) with over 300 employees and offices in Mannheim, München, acting internationally since 1997 in Clinical Research, Medical Science/Benefit dossiers and Marketing & Sales in the medical-pharmaceutical industry. Our Clinical Research services for Phase l-lV studies as well as Non-Interventional Studies include Project Management, Monitoring, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety, Quality Assurance, conduction of Audits and support for Regulatory Affairs and submissions. Since 2015 we are actively shaping the EU HTA process in collaboration with our clients and pharma associations and are an established partner to support our clients in preparation and submission of EU HTA dossiers as well as national HTA dossiers (such as AMNOG dossiers).

 

Your contribution:

  • Planning, management and analysis of non-interventional studies (NIS) and phase I - IV clinical trials.
  • Develop input in clinical study protocols/reports related to statistical methodology and develop plans for statistical analysis.
  • Coordinate statistical activities and communicate within the interdisciplinary project team and with clients.
  • Consulting and preparation of statistical issues in the field of Health Technology Assessment
  • (HTA) Application of the most efficient or innovative approach in economic modelling, (network) meta-analysis and indirect comparisons, clinical trials and observational research.

 

Your profile (ideally):

  • Bachelor/Master or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology or equivalent qualification
  • Sound knowledge in applying statistical or epidemiological methods, health economic modeling and applicable guidelines, programming skills in SAS or R
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in French and English. German language skills would be an advantage.
  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a Contract Research Organization.
  • Team spirit
  • Open to working in a constantly evolving field.
